Hostnames such as mi13.local are resolved by mDNS on the local network,
which the proxy core cannot do, so they failed with 'couldn't find ip'
while the system proxy was on. The macOS default already bypasses
*.local.

The move to CSS grid in #7819 let wide windows fit six or more profile cards per row, so long profile names were cut off. Keep the 260px minimum width but never use more than four columns, as the old Grid layout did.

While the menu order is locked, the sidebar items were still registered as
disabled sortables, so dnd-kit gave each nav button a draggable role
description, aria-disabled=true, aria-pressed and the drag instructions.
Screen readers announced every item as an unavailable draggable toggle.
Only wrap the items in SortableItem while reordering is unlocked.
