# 08 — Deliver the mature Profile editor

**What to build:** Replace append-only Profile editing with efficient terminal text inputs, precise validation, and a live Bypass interpretation that users can trust before saving.

- [x] Name and URL fields support insertion, cursor movement, Home, End, Delete, Backspace, paste, and horizontal scrolling.

- [x] Single and Advanced mode transitions preserve values according to existing Proxy Profile semantics.
